Our interventions in schools and universities across Finland, Portugal, Romania, and Spain are nearing the completion of the implementation phase. With this milestone, we are now transitioning into the crucial stage of evaluating the results.
As part of this process, the fifth meetings of the Sustainable Competence Teams—comprising students, teachers, and administrative staff—delved into a comprehensive exploration of outcomes from multiple perspectives. Participants assumed various roles, such as Teacher, Principal, Administrator, Student, Technical Staff, Cleaner, NGO Representative, Municipality Official, Parent, etc. Each role provided a unique lens through which to assess the successes and challenges of the interventions.
This interactive approach fostered constructive criticism, deepened participants’ understanding of strategic planning, and highlighted the importance of risk assessment and mitigation. It also paved the way for identifying future improvements. The experience was truly enriching, facilitating meaningful mutual learning and reinforcing the value of collaborative reflection. As we move forward, we remain committed to leveraging these insights to enhance sustainability practices and educational impact across institutions.
