The ceremony was organized to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and the power of positive change in our schools and universities. Over the past two years, students and teachers from different institutions have worked side by side to design and implement interventions aimed at improving school life, infrastructure, and education for sustainability.
A jury has reviewed the interventions and their videos, and produced separate scores for the following criteria: Implementation and Impact (C1): How well the intervention was carried out and what tangible effects it achieved, Participation Level (C2): The extent to which students, teachers, and other community members were actively involved, Ambition (C3): The level of challenge, creativity, and vision demonstrated by the intervention, Contribution to the Roadmap (C4): How well the project aligns with and advances the goals outlined in our shared Roadmap for sustainability in education.
These criteria helped ensure a fair and meaningful assessment of each intervention’s value and potential.
One prize for the best intervention in each category was attributed for the highest score. Two special recognitions was added: (1) the Best Student Empowerment Award, (2) the Prize for Innovation in Sustainability Education.
Finally based on the votes of all participants in the General Assembly the winner of the Grand Prize (The Best Intervention Award) was decided after the presentations of all 10 videos and by using Slido application.
